Lovely en-suite double bedroom in a friendly Bermondsey flat with an amazing balcony and rooftop.

The room:
The room comes with a new modern en-suite, a fitted wardrobe, it gets a lot of natural light and it’s a good size.

The flat:
The flat is a 2 bed and was brand new when we moved in and is nice and modern. It has a lovely big balcony that gets the morning sun and a nice shared living room/kitchen space. The best part of the flat are the two rooftops and conservatories that have the best views of London and shared bbqs. It also has secure bike storage and a small gym with weights and a peloton.

The location:
The flat is located a few mins from Bermondsey Street which has so many lovely cafes, wine bars, and restaurants. There is a small Co-Op across the street and a big Tesco a 10 min walk away. It has great bus links and is a 15 min walk to London Bridge or Bermondsey tube stations, and also walking distance to Borough and Elephant and Castle stations.

The flatmate:
Sadly my flatmate is moving out to go travelling, so I'm looking for someone friendly to live with. I work at a bank and I'm in the office 2-3 days a week so looking for someone with a similar working pattern. I love to use the living room to watch some tv together, I love cooking and want it to be a shared social space. Through the week I'll often go out for dinner or drinks with friends and I like to go to a yoga or pilates class in the morning. On the weekends I love to enjoy the sun on the balcony or rooftop (if it's sunny), go to gym classes, and catch up with friends. I also love to travel and will make the most of my holiday days. It such a nice modern flat so it's easy to keep clean and I would like someone clean and tidy. I would also be happy to hire a cleaner every once in a while. I'm looking for a likeminded friendly professional who sees the flat as a home.

The practical bits:
Rent is £1475 excluding bills. Bills are about £180 each per month and that includes council tax, water, electric. Internet is included in the rent price. The deposit is £1788. Contract starts on the 3rd September and it is a one year contract.
