We have a lovely, fully furnished double-room (for single occupancy) available in our bright and spacious triplex apartment with a roof terrace in central London
Perfect for professionals who go out to work (not suitable for home workers)
The property is well located for public transport, over ground and under ground stations are 5-6 minutes walk away, and we’re also well positioned for many bus routes. It’s also easy and quick to walk to Waterloo, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Bermondsy, Borough, etc., and even further towards the City of London, the West End, Westminster etc.
The Room
Large, well lit, and facing the property’s inner courtyard. Furniture and fittings all provided: King size bed, triple wardrobe, desk, chair, bedside cabinets and bedside lamps, 40-inch wall mounted TV, full length mirror.
About the flat & building
The building is 10-years old, modern in style, secure, and has a lift.
The flat (maisonette) has a quirky upside-down design. The front-door is located on the fourth floor of the building accessed by the lift, we then go down stairs to level 3, the kitchen/lounge, and further down stairs to level 2 where the bedrooms and bathrooms are located.
The flat has a spacious well-lit living room with comfortable modern furniture, leading on to a large balcony. The lounge has satellite TV & a vinyl record player. There’s a well-equipped galley-style kitchen with all the essentials (microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, etc)
WiFi – High Speed WiFi throughout the property.
Local Amenities
Abundance of shops, pharmacy, doctors, a choice of gyms, public swimming pool, several parks, all very close-by. Elephant Park is now a major focal point of the area with many lovely restaurants and a good café culture.
Housemates
About us - we are a mature gay couple, one of us works from home, the other works away two weeks of every month and works from home the rest of the time.
We need a housemate that is considerate, tidy and that likes dogs. We have a small 4 year old, very friendly Maltese-cross that wants everyone to be his friend and to play with him.
Rent & Availability
Rent is £850 per month (all inclusive), which includes all bills (electricity, water, gas, council tax, and WiFi). A deposit of £850 will be required.
The room is available from November 7th, with flexible moving dates.
