Hello! I’m a 27-year-old business analyst currently finalizing the lease on a lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment and looking for a female flatmate to move in with me.

*About the Location
The flat is on Alscot Road, just 0.5 miles from Bermondsey tube station. There are plenty of bus routes nearby (47, 381, 42, 78, 188, C10), and bike docks right at the entrance. If you cycle, it’s only a 7-minute ride to London Bridge. The area is full of cafes, restaurants, gyms, parks, and supermarkets, and Bermondsey Street is only a 14-minute walk away. One big reason I chose this flat is its easy 22-minute walk to my office near London Bridge.

*About the Apartment

The building itself has a lift, only two apartments per floor, so moving in and avoiding peak elevator times is no issue.

This is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, with me taking the master bedroom and using its en-suite bathroom. You’d have the second bedroom to yourself and your own larger bathroom. The second bedroom is quieter as it doesn’t face the main road, making it a perfect retreat. The apartment is cozy at 54 sqm but has great natural light, stunning views from the top floor, and a balcony where you can enjoy a view of the Shard. The open-plan kitchen offers a lovely cooking area with a window view. I work hybrid, so I’ll be working from home two or three days a week, usually in the living room.

*About Me
I’m a clean, single female with strong boundaries. I don’t smoke, drink, or use drugs, and I don’t enjoy noise or hosting parties at home. I like reading, traveling, baking, and exploring different cafes and restaurants. I also hit the gym five times a week. I’m friendly and enjoy socializing, so I hope to find a flatmate who isn’t overly serious.

*Who I’m Looking For
Ideally, I’m seeking a single female professional, aged 25-35, and it would be great if you work in tech, but that’s not a must. I value someone who keeps a tidy space, cleans up after themselves, doesn’t smoke, drink, or use drugs, and has a regular schedule. This is not a party house, but it’s fine if you have a friend over once a week.

*Rent and Bills
-Monthly Rent: £2,300 (negotiated down from £2,383)
-Your Share: £1,150/month
-Deposit: £2,750 total (£1,375 each)
-Bills will be split equally but are not included in the rent.
-Move-in date is November 20, 2024, and I’m currently in the final steps of signing the lease.
-Please note that I will NOT respond to messages attempting to negotiate the rent or bills.
