London Southbank/Waterloo - Mon-Fri Only

Charming Grade 2 listed Georgian cottage in popular conservation area very near London’s Southbank. Two minutes walk to Waterloo Station (with its 5 underground lines and 2 overground lines), it is extremely well connected to most parts of London. The houses in the street are 200 years old and often appear in movies and tv series. The area has a variety of really good restaurants and there are all the cultural activities of the Southbank on your doorstep.

The room overlooks a stunning back garden and the interior of the house has been tastefully modernised .

The owner, who is a retired lawyer, lives here quietly on his own and is looking for a mature and also quiet occupant of the room, someone whose permanent home and family are possibly a distance out of London but needs easy and full access to the office during the week.

I previously had a Mon-Fri lodger for 10 years. This worked very harmoniously for both of us because in the mornings he would have a free run of the entire rest of the house until 8am at which point he would have left for work and I would get up. Also I would be clear of the kitchen by 7pm. Would this arrangement fit with you?
