I am looking for someone to take over my tenancy in a 4 bedroom detached converted bungalow in SE12.
🏡 The property is a detached converted bungalow and has recently been renovated.
🌞There is a huge (!!) garden perfect for chilling outside on summer evenings and driveway with space for 4 cars and plenty of off street parking.
🛀 2 toilets and 1 bathroom.
🧘♀️ Bedroom is a decent size double room, upstairs at the back of the house overlooking the garden on a residential street.
🚂 Within walking distance of 2 train stations with trains to central London regularly which takes 20-30 minutes depending on the destination. Very close bus links to Lewisham and the DLR as well.
Greenwich and the O2 are also a bus journey away as well 🛍️
Choice of shops for groceries within walking distance and a lovely pub a 10 minute walk away which does great food and has a lovely garden.
Eltham high street is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk/bus journey which has ✨everything✨ you could need from Sainsburys, Lidl & Iceland to Nando’s pizza express, boots & savers, a 24 hour gym, a cinema, charity shops, nail & beauty salons and an M&S & T K Maxx.
💵 Rent is £650 a month, bills we all pay £150 a month into a monzo account to cover bills which doesn’t all get used during the summer months and covers anything extra/unforeseen during the winter months so works out really well. Council tax band F which is paid through the monzo annd included in the £150. Also any necessities for the house such as cleaning products, toilet roll etc are covered in the £150 so no one’s out of pocket!
£800 a month total for the room & bills which is a bargain for the property. I’m moving in with my partner else I’d be staying as it’s an excellent price in a good location.
👯 You’d be living with 3 other women ages 27 to 29 who all do shift work and are quiet and respectful. Enjoy the occasional evening in the garden together or paint & sip night in the living room when shifts align and day trips out but are respectful of everyone’s preference on socialising if you’d rather be left to do your own thing.
Currently 3 years left on the lease as the other girls are not from London (Scotland, Wales and the midlands) and so needed a secure tenancy that wouldn’t surge in price. It’s ideal for anyone not from London who wants a safe home and secure tenancy at a competitive price. If you wanted to move again prior to the 3 years being up it’s a simple name change on the tenancy as we all signed individually.
🛏️ The room comes unfurnished however I currently have a double bed with under bed drawers, side table, wardrobe with a mirror, chest of drawers and dressing table in the room which I can either take with me or would be open to selling cheaply if you wanted to take the room furnished.
Moving dates I can be super flexible as I already have somewhere sorted with my partner so we can work out whatever’s best for you!
