Large Double Room SE13 Hither Green

I'm offering a large bright double room in spacious 3 bedroom apartment on Manor Park. Recently refurbished, with brand new king size bed and mattress. Room comes with built in original wardrobe, under bed storage, chest of drawers 32" TV and Virgin 100mb broadband.

Lewisham (Zone 2) for DLR is 4 mins by train or 10-15m walk. Hither Green rail station (Zone 3) is less than 5m walk. and gets you into London Bridge in 10 mins, Cannon St 18 mins and Charing X 23 mins. There's also a local bus that stops almost outside that goes into Lewisham in under 10 mins.

The room mate would be sharing with me. I'm a 48 year old Creative Director. I run a food festival and members clubs and am based in Shoreditch during the week, but often spend weekends in Whitstable with my partner and daughter.

There is also a small well behaved resident cat.

I like to cook, so the large galleried kitchen is well appointed with a 5 ring gas cooker, American style fridge / freezer, microwave, and loads of prep space and would particularly suit someone who also likes to cook. There's also a new washer / dryer and dishwasher.

The large front room with 2 big sofas, real fire, and large smart TV. Bathroom is recently refurbished with bath and good shower.

There's a good size garden leading down to the river Quaggy, with a charcoal grill and outdoor kitchen.

The flat mate would have use of the 1st and 2nd floors, comprising kitchen, bathroom, front room and garden, with my rooms on the next floor up the only private areas.

There's a great park with cafe, occasional live music and the river running through it 2 mins down Manor Park, and another bigger one (Manor House Gardens) 5 mins walk the other way. There's 3 good local pubs with good food and beer – The Station Hotel (3 mins walk), The Dirty South (5 mins walk) and The Northbrook (10 mins walk).

Blackheath is 15 mins walk, and Greenwich Park about 20 mins.

I'm looking for someone professional, friendly, fairly tidy and sociable. My house party days are definitely over, but I don't mind a glass of wine or couple of beers in the evening or even a couple of pints in the local pub.
