Bright double bedrooms available for rent in our beautiful Victorian house, perfect for someone looking for a cosy and welcoming home!
While the decor shown in the photos reflects previous tenants' style, it offers an excellent canvas for you to make it your own. The rooms come furnished or partly furnished, have enough space for a desk and all have blackout blinds as well as plenty of natural sunlight during the day time.

Wooden floors throughout, a large garden and ample storage available in a large, dry basement. The main bathroom includes a shower as well as a separate bathtub and a downstairs cloakroom. The kitchen has all the appliances needed. The entire house is double-glazed for extra comfort and will undergo a full repainting and tidy-up/ clear out in the next few weeks.

**About you and us**
You'll be sharing the space with me and my shy and almost 8yo daughter. We’re a French-British family and are returning to London after living in Spain for the last few years so keen on all things international. I also have older children who are students and who don’t live at the house.
The two of us will occupy the second floor of the house (the other rooms are on the first floor) and live a pretty regular life. We are out of the house during the day/ weekends/ school holiday and in bed early, which doesn’t mean you can’t have your own late plans and have friends over.
We truly would want you to feel at home in a healthy and respectful environment amongst all the London madness.
It may suit somebody who is just moving to London and who wants to find their footing first before moving on to a younger set up or somebody more mature but really no preference on our end regarding age or occupation, it all comes down to kindness and honesty.

**The Neighborhood:**
The house is conveniently located between Lewisham, Hither Green and Blackheath village. It is a peaceful, friendly neighbourhood with lots of community events throughout the year.
Lidl and Sainsbury's are both a short walk away. Lewisham also has a daily market as well as the usual Primark, Starbucks, H&M, Boots etc.
The stunning Manor House Gardens park is also round the corner from the house, complete with a pond, a cafe and a monthly farmers market.

**Transport:**
Hither Green station is under 10 minutes walk, Blackheath around 12 and Lewisham approximately 20 minutes walk or quicker by bus.
15 minutes to central London (Waterloo/Charing Cross/London Bridge/Canary Wharf/The City) via DLR or train
(Note: There is no tube station nearby.)
The night bus service runs every 15 minutes through the night, with the bus stop being one minute walk.

**Details**
- Rent: £700/month for rooms 1 and 2 and - £730/month for room 3 which is bigger
- Bills: between 60- £100/ month depending on the time of the year. Council tax band D but as a live-on landlord, I am responsible for the cost of it.
- Deposit: £750 for all rooms
- Room 1 and 2 can be viewed Friday 6 and Saturday 7
- Room 3 can be viewed on the 13th onwards but you are welcome to come by to have a look at the house and get an idea
- Move-in date: 13th of September onwards, with a possibility of the 10th onwards if needed
- Short-term contracts and Monday-to-Friday rentals possible
- Double occupancy is an option on a short-term basis with a small additional charge
- House and window cleaning and gardening services included in the rent.
