Hi all, looking to find a lodger to share my lovely flat in Deptford / New Cross.

THE ROOM
- Very spacious
- Great views of Canary Wharf and SE London
- Built-in wardrobe
- Furnished (can discuss particular needs) but pics show the room furnished mostly with previous lodger's own furniture
- Definitely space for a desk (for WFH)
- £1000pcm (all bills included)
- Available: from the new year (though can be flexible on this)
- Bit of a blank slate at the moment but room for you to make your stamp on it
- Offering for a maximum 6-month stay for now as I’m looking to sell the place so it would suit someone looking for a stop-gap

THE FLAT
- Spacious 2-bed (c. 90 sq. m)
- Bedrooms at opposite ends of the flat (great for sharing)
- Large shared open-plan living room/kitchen
- Ample kitchen space
- Shared bathroom
- Utilities: washing machine, dishwasher
- Great views
- 6th floor (top floor)
- balcony with plenty of plants
- Part of Anthology Deptford Foundry development, with concierge (great for parcels) and secure bike store

THE AREA
- Less than 10 mins to Deptford High Street and its cafes, restaurants and bars, plus the famous Deptford Market
- Plenty of green spaces (Deptford Park, Folkestone Gardens)
- Close to the river (great for running)
- Not far from the beautiful Greenwich Park
- Nearby supermarkets: Lidl, Tesco, Waitrose

TRANSPORT
- New Cross Station (6 mins) for Overground to East London and National Rail to London Bridge/Cannon Street (or Charing Cross if you change at LB)
- Deptford Station (8 mins) for National Rail to London Bridge/Cannon Street/Charing Cross and Thameslink
- New Cross Gate (12 mins) for Overground (24hrs at weekends) and National Rail
- Deptford Bridge (15 mins) for DLR
- Plenty of buses from nearby Evelyn Street

IDEAL HOUSEMATE
- Honesty is really key for me--keen to share with someone reliable and trustworthy
- Someone willing to be part of the household and generally respect the space
- Someone happy to chip in for the cleaner who currently comes every two weeks which would be an extra £45/month
- Would be great to find someone to share a meal or a drink with now and again
- In tune with LGBTQ issues.

YOUR HOUSEMATE
- I own the flat with my long-term partner but you will be mainly sharing with me (apart from odd weekends) and you’ll have the flat to yourself for a couple of weekends a month. He lives and works in Manchester
- I’m a plumber so I’ll be out all day Mon-Fri
- Likes: good TV, films, travel, cooking and a nice bottle of wine.
- Very easy-going person (unless you stack the dishwasher wrong of course 😂)
