Description
Hello there!
I am looking for someone to sublet my single room while I travel until the 25th of November. The flat is situated in a quiet and leafy part of New Cross, a short walk from two overground stations and within easy reach of supermarkets, pubs and restaurants.
You'd have two female housemates who are both professionals, sometimes WFH and sometimes going into the office. Annie is a journalist with a strong interest in feminism and leftist politics. She likes to cook, listen to podcasts, watch TV dramas and paint watercolors in her spare time. Emma works in the social impact space and has a big heart for all things creative, community and sustainability. When she’s not working, you can find her riding her little red bike across the city, seeing exhibitions and live music, or, if she’s feeling fancy, baking up a batch of cinnamon rolls. The most important person is the cat, Cindy, who is the actual owner of the house.
We would love to welcome a female housemate, and it doesn't matter to us what kind of background you have as long as you are trustworthy, kind, and reasonably clean and tidy.
The available room is a single with a small built-in wardrobe. The living room with its West facing balcony is a really great space which everyone is free to use to work, study, have friends round or just watch TV. In the kitchen we have a really good oven, fridge, freezer and a washer dryer. In our home we hope to foster a lively atmosphere and we encourage friends to come over for dinners and drinks, but we rarely have parties here, as we prefer having the option of sleep!
your monthly rent will cover all the bills including council tax, Virgin broadband and Amazon video.
Ideally the sublet would be 3 months but I am open to flexibility on the move-out date in November. Please send me a message if you have any questions or would like to arrange a viewing.
