Double Room, Furnished, Parking, Peckham

Hi SpareRoomers,

My flatmate is moving back to Australia next month, so I am looking for someone new to live with. Would prefer another friendly and sociable living situation over being strangers, while I also respect the need for some alone time as well. I own the flat but I also want you to be comfortable and feel that you live here too.

🛏️ Your Room:
The room is quite specious, with large windows and comes fully furnished with a storage-bed, large wardrobe, blackout blinds, desk, and more, perfect for WFH.

🏡 Our Flat:
The flat is a two-bed/one-bath new-build on the 5th floor. Our shared spaces are all fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen, dining area, separate laundry room with a washer/dryer, some additional storage and a cozy private balcony.

🏘️ Our Building:
The building offers a communal bike-store for residents on the ground floor and free access to a co-working space on the first floor, provided by the convenience store “Budgens” on the ground floor. Parking is free on the street, with no permits needed.

📍 Location:
We are on the middle of quiet Pomeroy Street, and Queens Road Peckham / New Cross Gate overground stations are just a short walk away (650m/1100m). Plus, there are plenty of bus routes on either end of the street for all directions.

👋 About Me:
I'm a 33-year-old Norwegian who's been living in London the past 10 years, after some work and studies in 6 other countries the previous 8 years. I work for a multilateral development bank, usually splitting my time between the office or working remotely either from the flat or abroad. I like to keep things clean & tidy, I don't smoke, but don’t mind if you do on the balcony.

I also like to read, going to the cinema, drinking wine, pub-quizzes, love a good vintage/food market and whole days in the park with all the dogs.

📅 Availability:
Move in dates are flexible, but ideally between late October and early November.

Mainly looking for one person, but may consider a couple on some type of pp basis as this has worked well before.
