Description
Offering an en-suite double in a two bedroom duplex (two floors) in New Cross/Deptford.
Room comes furnished with a king-size bed, a large built-in wardrobe, two chests of drawers, and there's space for a desk (this just hasn't been needed in there yet).
The flat has an open plan kitchen/living room and its own front door, with a downstairs terrace. The room has direct access to a balcony (which stretches across to both bedrooms but I can put a divider) and the only other flatmate would be me - I’m a 30 year-old professional in the City working from home a couple days a week (more about me below!).
There is a dishwasher and a washer/dryer and the downstairs bathroom is spacious enough to be used as a drying room so everything is nicely out of the way.
Also have a PS5 and most subscription services available on the TV.
Bills: About £200 - including Council Tax, Ring security system, bi-monthly cleaner, WiFi, Water, Electricity, Heating, TV licence.
Transport links:
- 3-5 mins walk from New Cross station
- - 5 min train (Southern and Southeastern) to London Bridge
- - Overground - connecting to Canada Water Jubilee Line (6 mins) and Whitechapel Lizzy Line (13 mins) amongst others.
- Deptford National Rail (Thameslink and Southeastern) 7-10 mins walk
- Deptford Bridge (DLR) about 15 mins walk.
- New Cross Gate (Southern and Overground)
About me:
As mentioned I'm 30 and work in the City 2-3 days a week and otherwise WFH.
In the evenings you’ll often find me out at the local bouldering gyms or at choir, some kind of other hobby/class or a work event. I do like my own space but I’m happy to share it with a calm likeminded person and I definitely think flatmates are best when they have a chance to become friends.
If I am home I’m just as up for a chat over a wine/beer in the kitchen as I am to go out to check out local gig or food venues, or even to stay home and chill and watch Netflix, play PS5 or read.
I love animals but don’t currently have any due to not being home enough.
Drop me a message if you’re interested and we can discuss viewings and maybe a coffee.
More photos/videos available on request!
