Description
We are a friendly creative house, with people on different schedules, working in film, theatre, music and advertising. We are very easygoing and prioritise a tranquil atmosphere in the house. We are split over 3 floors with the kitchen and lounge extended out at the rear of the house, so you can live peacefully without hearing every bit of kitchen business! We are currently 2 females and 3 males, with one male moving out at the end of May. The tenancy needs to be taken over from the second week of June, but you can possibly move in earlier depending on discussions!
We have a large garden that is hit by the sun for most of the day. We have 2 bathrooms, currently split between upstairs bedrooms and downstairs (upstairs bathroom isn’t photographed as whoever takes this bedroom won’t use it). As you can see, the lounge is not currently used by us as a social space, so it has currently got a bike and some coats making it look cluttered and uninviting! But this could change and the space is crying out for some life! We just don’t tend to sit and use the tele together at the moment. (The bike will be moved to a locker soon)
The room comes furnished (apart from the desk and taller chest of draws) and is at the very front of the house. It stays cooler as a result of not being hit by any direct sunlight in the summer. The leaving tenant is looking to sell the tall chest of draws should you be interested. The landlady is also quite approachable about furnishing our rooms, if you asked for a desk she may well agree.
One thing to note is that the room has another doorway to the bedroom next to it, but it has been blocked and professionally soundproofed and current flatmates haven’t had any issues.
