Huge double room with en suite in heart of Peckham

Our good friend is moving out, so we now have a lovely room available in our modern flat. We're looking for a fun and friendly person to come live with us!

We're Andy and Claudia - a professional couple in our early 30's, who both work in tech/finance startups, but also like to socialise and hangout with people we live with. Both me and my partner have lived in spareroom houseshares since we moved to London and some of our closest friends are now people we used to live with.

With that in mind, we'd really like for the next person to live here to also be someone who would feel happy to join us and our friends for drinks, or come climbing etc. likewise would invite us to meet their friends too. That said, we've all got our own lives and busy jobs, so it's important that we can all be independent too.

The room is massive - very large double bedroom, with an ensuite, desk and it's own little light well balcony space. The high ceilings and space make it a very comfortable room to live in.

The flat itself is spread out over two floors and has large open plan kitchen/living space - with super comfy sofas a 50" TV and sound system for watching movies, large dining table etc. The building is a converted old pub - very pretty, with high ceilings and large rooms.

The flat is just off Bellenden Road, which is the best location you can find in Peckham, with lots of lovely cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants just round the corder, whilst it is a very short walk to Peckham Rye station and Peckham itself. We're also a 5 minute walk from East Dulwich, which has lots of great things too.

For those who don't know Peckham, it's a wonderful place to live. Lots going on, lots to do and a real vibrant atmosphere - especially in summer time with all the roof top bars. There's also lots of green spaces and parks to relax in with summer round the corner.

In terms of travel, it's less than a 10 minute walk to either Peckham Rye station, or East Dulwich station. That means 20 mins to get into the city, like Farringdon, Blackfriars and London Bridge or a few stops to Clapham/Victoria. There's also loads of busses etc.

Bills are currently around £100pm and includes super fast 500Mb fibre broadband and we've got mesh wifi to give signal around the whole flat. We have a robot hoover that cleans upstairs, but we also have a cleaner who comes every two weeks for the shared areas (you could ask her to stay longer and do your room/bathroom if you wanted). It's a nice tidy flat and we're looking for a housemate who will help keep it that way.

In terms of availability, the room is available from June and we're doing viewings over the next week or so.
