We have a double room available in our 4 bed house in Peckham. Located just off Peckham Road it’s a great location, with Peckham Rye station, Rye Lane, Camberwell, and Burgess Park all within walking distance.
You'd be living with one couple and two other housemates - a doctor, a design engineer, a social investment manager, and a production manager (and I work for a sustainability charity). Some of the housemates work a few days from home in the week, and the conservatory is our wfh spot with plenty of space and desks already there. We've been pals for years and I'm only moving out to take an opportunity outside London. We are looking for someone to take over my tenancy for the last 7 months of the contract, from March until the end of September 2025.
We are a very relaxed lot and the house is our chill space where we often cook together and hang out. We are LGBTQ+ friendly and looking for someone of a similar open-minded attitude.
The room is on the second floor and comes furnished with a double bed, small wardrobe, and chest of drawers. You'd be sharing the bathroom on that floor with two other people. There's a spacious kitchen on the ground floor with a space to store bikes, and a large living room area and conservatory on the first floor. The conservatory backs out onto a patio area - currently a bit winter-neglected, but we'd welcome vegetable growers and bbq havers for spring and summer!
Rent is £890p/m not including bills- around £70ish p/m currently, plus some shared costs. Room is available to move in from 1st March :)
