Double room in Peckham

Looking for a housemate!

My best mate has ditched south east London to move in with her partner so looking for someone to rent her former room in my two-bed flat in Peckham.

Room comes fully furnished (bed, built-in wardrobe, bedside table) with the option to add chest of drawers plus you'll have access to extra storage throughout the flat.

Bedrooms, living room and balcony are south west-facing so get light throughout the day. TV is hooked up to NowTV and Prime Video, and the couch is so comfy, it's been known to induce many an unexpected nap.

If you're big into cooking, kitchen comes kitted out, with a double cupboard each, shared spices and a massive fridge. Toilet and bathroom are separate and have just been redone. Neighbours are lovely and there's space outside or in nearby rentable lockers to store your bike.

Rent is £815 pcm. Deposit is one months rent, and bills work out to around £100-150 in winter. Council tax is band B.

The flat is right next to various bus stops, and about 15 mins walk from Peckham Rye station. There's loads of bars, restaurants, gyms and green space on our doorstep.

You'll be living with me: a video journalist, ill-fated house plant collector (seem to have killed a lot of them lately), and London stereotype... yes, I joined the local run club.

Flat is quite cosy so looking for a clean and friendly person to share the space and explore Peckham with.

Move in date is semi-flexible and can be brought forward for the right person.
