Beautiful room in a lovely Victorian house.

The room is a light & airy, furnished double room with carpet, a comfortable double bed, bedside cabinet, wardrobe, desk & en suite shower.

Our mid terrace Victorian house has wooden floors throughout, a large living room with 2 lovely traditional open fires (which we use regularly in the winter), modern well-equipped kitchen/dining room, bathroom (with bath) and garden. We have plenty of storage space if you want to keep your room clear. There is a small, pretty garden where we eat out and have barbeques in the summer. Mod cons incl washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, breadmaker, wifi, TV/DVD with BT Vision, Netflicks and free on street parking.

We are an easy-going, professional couple with a child. The house is quiet but sociable, with a lot of activity and a happy vibe. We are looking for a responsible renter who is clean and tidy and up for a bit of a chat in the evening but there is plenty of space if you want some privacy.

We are in Zone 2 and are a 10 -15min walk to both Queens Rd and Peckham Rye stations (10 min train journey to London Bridge, 15 min to London Victoria & Clapham Junction, 20 min to City Thameslink & Shoreditch). There are also plenty of good buses (30 min on the No. 63 to the city). We are located close to Camberwell College of Art, Goldsmiths Colllege, London Southbank University, Guys Hospital and Kings College Hospital.

The Peckham library and Peckham Pulse pool/gym are a 5 min walk away with a farmer’s market on Sundays. Other local amenities include Rye lane and Bellenden Rd shops, restaurants, bars and galleries . Peckham Rye Park. Asda, Morrison’s and Lidls are also nearby.
