Spacious room with private bathroom in Rotherhithe

Our flatmate is moving out from her room in cosy Rotherhithe and we are looking for replacement for her.

About the room:

It is a spacious double bed with build-in wardrobes, comes furnished with bed, chest of drawers, bedside table. Our flatmate is willing to leave a desk and a chair for a small charge if you need them. Room benefits from a private bathroom (not en-suite, but you will have all family bathroom to yourself!).

About the flat:

It's a 2-bedroom 2-bathroom flat located in cul-de-sac with lovely neighbours and neighbours' cats visiting (note: you must like cats!). It is just 3 minutes away from a river with beautiful views of Canary Wharf. We have a spacious kitchen and living room area, where we like to hang out, watch tv or host dinners. Kitchen comes fully equiped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer. There is plenty of storage room and a parking space.

About the area:

Rotherhithe is lovely, quiet and green area with a river nearby. Our flat is around 15-20 minutes walk from Canada Water and Rotherhithe stations. We have 2 buses just outside the door taking you to central London. Also there is a bike/scooter bay next to the house. In Canada Water you can find shopping centre with a huge Tesco, cafes, pubs, library. There is a cute Surrey Docks farm, plenty of green spaces just nearby. Southwark leisure centre also offers free gym for residents on weekends.

About us:

We are working professionals in late 20s/early 30s. Ieva is a trainee CBT therapist and Aaron works in sales. We are very chill couple who enjoy cooking, going on walks, chilling while watching movies. We are a couple of chilled old souls.

We are looking for:

Someone who is friendly, kind, chill. We are very clean and tidy and are asking you to be the same! We are respectful of others' space, however, we are looking for someone who wouldn't just sit in their room but likes to socialise and wants to make a flat their home. However, we are too old for house parties. We prefer females and someone who doesn't wfh full-time (hybrid is ok).

After rent agreement renewal in April rent might increase by a bit as it does annualy (subject to confirmation from landlord)
