Hi! I’m looking for someone to take over my lease for a fully furnished en-suite room in a lovely, well-kept house in London with fantastic transport connections.

The room is on the second floor and gets plenty of natural light from a large window. It comes fully furnished with a bed and mattress (as shown in photos), a desk and chair—ideal for working from home—and lots of storage, including a dresser and a spacious closet.

You’ll also have your own large en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, so no sharing and plenty of space.

Shared spaces:
You’ll have access to a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with ample storage, making it easy to cook and store everything comfortably.

About the house:

4-bedroom house in total

Flatmates are all working professionals

Friendly, respectful, and independent — social but not overly so

Quiet during the week due to work schedules

Occasionally hang out together on weekends

Location & Transport:

3–4 minute walk to Rotherhithe Station (Windrush line)

10 minute walk to Canada Water Station (Jubilee line & Windrush line)

2 minute walk to Smith Close bus stop (C10 and 381)

Rent & Availability:

£1,000 per month rent

£165 per month bills (all included)

Available to move in from 20th February

Lease has 9 months remaining, and I’m looking to transfer the lease for the remaining duration

The landlord is excellent—very helpful, proactive, and quick to respond if anything needs attention. He doesn’t live on the property, so you’ll have full privacy.

A bit of context: I moved to London for a long-term work position, but due to unforeseen circumstances the role was cancelled, and I now need to move back home. Otherwise, I would have happily stayed.
