I'm a freelance editor (work from home mostly at my partner's at present) and B is an account manager (in Farringdon in non-COVID, currently working from home).

We have our own lives but have evening drinks most weeks and, when it's open, head to the local pub. A cat which has adopted us visits most days. Shared interests include books, current affairs, cooking etc...

Lots of cafés, restaurants and shops nearby (Algerian, Ethiopian, Chinese, Latin) as well as big Lidl, Tesco, Argos, B&Q etc...

Burgess Park and Southwark Park are both nearby with lots of mini parks and green spaces in between.

East Street market (for cheap groceries and eats) is 10 mins walk. Borough market (for fancy groceries and eats) is 25 mins walk.

Transport:
10 mins walk to Elephant & Castle tube
15 mins walk to Bermondsey tube
Lots of buses and easy to cycle

Centre of town is walking distance: 25 mins to London Bridge, 30 to Waterloo, 45 to Covent Garden, 50 to Farringdon (Google is a dawdler, so slightly slower!)
