Description
Dear Roomhunters,
This is a beautiful 2 bed flat with garden and living room in the surroundings of Elephant & Castle. The area is super central and near many amenities.
My name is Ricardo and I live with my lovely boyfriend Aitor. I am a 31y old Portuguese living in London since early 2016 and Aitor is also 31, from Spain and also lives in the UK since 2016.
I work in Baker street as a Mathematician in a financial and consulting services company and Aitor is an Architect.
We like to explore the city and the world by visiting different countries, cycling and attending to events such as Comedies, shows or simply having a dinner at ours with friends.
We have a spare room in the house that we think it could be benefited from someone in need. We have preference for a person who is tidy, clean and responsible. We are not looking for anybody who necessarily wishes to stay for a long time if short time is your preference and we do not impose any particular rules.
We are avid cyclists and I cycle to work when heading the office roughly three times a week.
The flat covers all the basic needs including a kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven and stove and about 15 min walk to the Elephant and Castle tube (Bakerloo and Northern lines), rail station and multiple bus stops that take quickly you to anywhere in London.
There are some great things to do in the neighbourhood on weekends. You can stop by "Mercato Metropolitano" or simply walk to Borough and London Bridge under 10/15 minutes.
There's also a useful Leisure Centre near Elephant and Castle with a swimming pool and fantastic classes you can join.
Rent displayed in the ad is inclusive of ALL bills (water, council tax, electricity, gas, Internet and 1-weekly 3h cleaning). This can be adjusted if you do not intend to stay 7 days a week, i. e., if you would prefer renting just during the week and commute during weekend or vice-versa. We understand this flexibility can be useful for some people and we are opened to that.
The starting date is also flexible, we can adjust depending on your needs.
Appliances are verified by an independent company who tests and verifies all is properly working annually.
There are no agency fees involved and couples or pets are not accepted.
If you want to call this room your own, get in touch, and I'll answer any questions you have. :)
You will require to mandatorily provide:
1. Reference from your previous landlord;
2. Passport with relevant valid VISA to live in UK for the period of the tenancy;
3. Proof of previous address;
4. Latest salary (Payslip or Bank statement) and employment reference as a proof of income.
