Description
Hello,
We have recently secured a nice new flat and are looking for some pleasant sub-letters while we wait for our friends to wrap up their holiday's.
Ideally we are looking for someone to stay for all of October and November but also happy to facilitate a one month option.
Myself and Findlay are both friendly people and will be warm and welcoming to anyone interested.
We're more than happy to take couples with a slightly adjusted rent.
Single £950
Couple £1150
A bit about the place:
The kitchen has an induction hob, oven, twin ceramic butler sink, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and tumble dryer.
The long and lovely kitchen diner has carbonised oak flooring and a big table. Next to the diner is a cosy, wood-clad 'garden room' lounge with a huge window seat and a storage room to the rear.
The garden room looks out over the large deck and substantial private rear garden.
There are two bedrooms downstairs, both with original fireplaces and original sash windows, which have been newly renovated.
Upstairs are two more bedrooms and a box room/office with garden views.
The master bedroom upstairs, with original floorboards, fronts the street and spans the width of the house. It has a period fireplace and original, wooden sash windows.
You can take your pick of the rooms!
The approximately 100 foot garden begins with a substantial decked area.
The small front garden has a sturdy steel lockable bike shed.
It's a two minute walk from Burgess Park with its lake, tennis courts, outdoor gym, cafe, kids' playground, and much more. Peckham is just the other side of Burgess Park.
The house is also an easy walk (and cycle ride) to Bermondsey, the South Bank and Tate Modern. Maltby Street Market and a whole array of railway arch microbreweries are also walkable.
Elephant and Castle tube (Bakerloo and Northern Lines - Zone 1) is a 10-15 minute walk.
Nearby (2 mins walk), the Old Kent Road hosts (as well as a large Tesco at the end of the road, cafes, takeaways, etc) a wide array of buses that will take you quickly into to the city - Waterloo and London Bridge stations are ten minutes by bus (or bike) and Liverpool Street is under twenty.
Please get in touch, all welcome (:
