Description

Large double with plenty storage available in a well maintained home near West Norwood station. Easy access to West Norwood Station to London Victoria or London Bridge (10 min walk), bus stops taking you to Crystal Palace (10-15 mins) Tooting Bec / Northern Line (25 mins), Brixton / Victoria Line (25-30 mins). We're a short walk from Streatham Common for all outdoor exercise needs, with the wonderful Rookery, the oak woods and the Rookery Cafe if a leisurely wander is more your thing. West Norwood and all it's shops, cafés and bars is our local centre, and there's a big Lidl and Tesco Local just a hop away from the house.

Room is at the back of the house, and is super quiet. It gets the morning sun, and has double bed, cupboard, chest of drawers and room for a desk (can be provided if needed)

Downstairs the house has large kitchen diner with a TV and sofa, dining table, American style fridge, 2 ovens, a 5 hob gas cook top, dishwasher, washing machine and all the cooking tools you could need, and your own storage area, big doors opening into a green and lush garden via outdoor seating area. You'd have your own storage for food, and space in the fridge of course. Happy to share meals/cooking if and when convenient, but generally you can expect to be independent. We have a large and comfortable knock through sitting room, also with TV, with French doors to the garden, and plenty of seating, perfect for the winter. There's enough space that we don't have to be in eachother's pockets. Upstairs is your room, a beautiful newly renovated shared bathroom (all usual amenities including bath + shower) and 2 other bedrooms.

Rent includes all bills Inc Council Tax, water, gas, electric, internet, weekly cleaner (bed change + ironing available) and household staples (loo roll, washing soap, cleaning etc). You'll only need to think about your food.

You'll be living with me, 50's, female. Into much of the usual stuff ; challenging theatre, silly films, gigs, a glass of wine, weekends at home, books, nights out with friends, cooking Sunday lunches, gardening, rain chains, festivals, making bread, music...and staying curious. I'm organised and tidy, so looking for a house mate who's independent, open minded, tidy (hopefully both practically and spiritually), responsible and gainfully employed.

Looking forward to meeting you - please do get in touch if my home and I sound like your kind of space :-) Will consider 5 days a week as well as full time tenants.
