Description
Rent: £740 + £100 bills
Deposit: tbc
After sharing this lovely flat for 3 years, my friends are moving in with partner / going traveling.
You’ll be renewing the tenancy with me and my friend Thien - we’re architects who studied together. Ariella is here from Berlin for a course in literature - she is staying in the extra room and contributes to rent. Thien coparents his lovely dog part-time. The flat is a safe space and we prefer girls or gays.
We take it easy on weekdays as we’re busy with work / uni, and organise fun and creative activities with friends on weekends. We are looking for a wholesome and reliable flatmate, ideally someone with similar lifestyle, who’d like to stay long term and become a friend. Please include a little bit about yourself in the message xx
The room:
The bright and spacious south-facing room is flooded with sunlight and overlooks quiet gardens. It comes unfurnished, though you could buy most furniture for cheap from Meg. Shared spaces include a cosy kitchen / living room and one large bathroom. The flat has an intimate, lived-in and homely vibe.
The building is an old mansion block with large windows and tall ceilings, across the road from dreamy Peckham Rye Park & Common. The location is a quieter corner nestled between lively Rye Lane and Lordship Lane. It’s very well connected by 24hr buses and Peckham Rye overground station.
The tenancy:
The new contract is a joint tenancy with a joint guarantor deed that would begin from 30th December for a fixed term of a year, and continue as a rolling tenancy with a notice period of 1 month. The landlord requests both the UK homeowner guarantor and formal proof of employment for referencing. If these can’t be provided to the letting agency immediately they won’t be able to consider you!!!
Please get in touch ASAP to arrange a viewing if you’re keen - we need to complete referencing before Christmas, and it usually takes around 2 weeks.
Can’t wait to meet our new flatmate 👯♀️
