Description
Hello!
I'm looking for a female flat mate to share this cosy flat I found close to Honor Oak. Please note, I do not live there yet, I went for a viewing and met with the landlord, and the agreement was for me to find a flatmate and then do a joint tenancy agreement. Professionals would be preferred as we would need to go through referencing. The landlord is a really nice man, and there is no agency involved, we would be renting directly from him. The flat is available now, but I suspect by the time we go through referencing and all we wouldn't be able to move in before August. I also prefer a moving in date sometime in August. So all-in-all, moving-in date is flexible.
About the flat: it is originally a one-bed flat on the third floor of a high rise. The living room would be my bed room. The pics posted are of the bedroom and this would be your room. It comes with a double bed and a built-in wardrobe. There is plenty more space to add additional furniture if you like. The kitchen is large with loads of cupboards, fridge, washing machine, a bar table for dining, but there is additional space for a dining table and I think I would add one to make it more inviting and to have someplace nice to socialise and have a friendly chat, possibly share a meal together. There is an inside and outside cupboard for storage, good for hoover, luggage, etc. This is a great area, close to East Dulwich , Peckham and Forest Hill with loads of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Also lot of green space around and it has a a village vibe. Transport is convenient as well with bus 63 which takes you to central London only couple of minutes by foot, and Honor Oak station about 10 minutes away where you can catch the Overground.
About me: I am a professional female working in mental health research. My work is hybrid but most of the time I work from home with only occasionally having to go to the office. I have the most sweetest and friendliest Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, therefore I am looking to share the flat with someone who is dog friendly. I am very relaxed and open-minded, and I like to live in a tidy and chilled place. I am an introvert who likes their own space, but I am always up for a good chat and socialising.
About you: I am hoping to find someone of similar mindset, someone who respects where they live and very much considers the flat as their home. If our personalities are a good match and we end up becoming friends and join in activities together that would be great, but if we end up being two respectful flatmates who mostly have their own lives, I'm happy with that too. One thing that is important to me is that we don't end up as a party house, and we keep a relaxed and warm atmosphere at home. If you have a small dog yourself, that would not be a problem with me, I think there is space for two little doggies in the flat, given that they get along. Unfortunately, my dog is not good with cats. LGBTQA welcome!
If you are interested, please send a message with a little bit about yourself. Then we can meet up, do a viewing together and hopefully rent this amazing flat!
