Huge double room in Forest Hill

Hello! We are looking for a woman or non binary person to move into our lovely 3 bed flat in Forest Hill at the end of February! 🌳🌞

The flat is a 10 min walk from both Forest Hill and Sydenham stations. The flat is all on one level, and it's on the ground floor, but you have to walk down about 6 steps to get to it. We're on a reasonably quiet road but a 5 min walk to pubs and shops!

🍃 It is big, light and airy. It has a separate (big) living room and good sized kitchen. 1 bathroom with shower/bath/toilet and a separate room with a toilet, storage, and laundry space.

The bedroom for rent:

The bedroom is big and is part-furnished. A double bed+mattress is optional, and the room comes with a wardrobe, and a desk. It's at the front of the house and has a small grassy area in front and some bushes which are good for privacy.

The room is £781.66 + bills which are roughly £132pcm (total rent & bills £913.66).

The tenancy begins on the 27th February, but move in date can be slightly flexible. The contract will renew on the 27th April 2025, an opportunity to stay on which has been confirmed with the landlord.

A bit about us:

Rhiannon (they/she) is 27, queer, Indian, and currently works at Goldsmiths Students' Union. Usually their week is made up of playing football, seeing friends, seeing their partner, going to the pub, and relaxing at home.

Ella (she/her, 27) - I work as a Race and Social Justice Co-ordinator and am training in community facilitation and psychotherapy. I go to folk nights and like to volunteer in my community garden. I’m a (white) anti-zionist jew. I plan on moving out at the end of April (I love the house, have lived here 3 years, but want to move to Devon) so if you know someone who might want my room, they could potentially join the contract.

Both of us really value both communal living (hanging out, making flat cosy and cute, eating together), and having time alone.
