Beautiful room available in Penge

Looking for a lovely person to live with as there’s a double room available in my flat from the 19th March. Queer-friendly and female-friendly, 30 plus preferred!

The room is unfurnished, apart from a circular wall mirror and has floor to ceiling built-in wardrobes, so plenty of storage space. For context on size, the bed in the pictures is a king which fits comfortably. It receives a good amount of light throughout the day, so ideal if you are a plant fan.

Situated in a beautiful 2-bed 1930s build, designed by Frederik Gibberd (in case you’re an architecture nerd). The flat has a spacious living area with generous windows that look out onto the estate and its surrounding greenery. There is a separate kitchen with lots of room for cooking (and dancing whilst you do). The bathroom has a bath and 2 shower options, depending on the mood.

The location is excellent, as the flat is nestled between 3 neighbourhoods so you have a pick of stations and high streets to choose from.

We’re slap bang next to Crystal Palace park which is a fave, as they have a fabulous food market on every Sunday. The closest station (9 min walk) is Penge West for the overground, followed by Penge East (15 min walk) for Brixton and Victoria.

Penge High Street offers charity shop galore, a superb fishmongers, a big Sainsburys, and other multi-cultural delights including Brazilian and Turkish supermarkets.

Crystal Palace triangle is less than a mile away (25 min walk) for a whole host of cafes, restaurants, pubs and antique shops.

To the other side Sydenham station and high street is also close (20 min walk) with plenty of great food spots, a yoga studio and independent shops.

You’ll be living with me, a 35yr old (she/her) that loves art, design, culture, food, music fitness and film. I work in marketing for a luxury furniture brand and I’m in the office 5 days a week which means I’m out the house most weekdays. For me home is my sanctuary so I would like to live with someone that also prioritises having a clean and calm space to recharge.

The tenancy is until Feb 26, with a possibility to extend after. No students or couples - sorry!
