The Room
A spacious, light-filled double room upstairs, one flight of stairs up, with windows overlooking the garden. It has a built-in wardrobe and is otherwise unfurnished, giving you flexibility to make it your own. I’m planning to sell my double bed and mattress, a solid wood frame with an Emma Hybrid mattress bought less than a year ago, and would be very happy to agree a price if you’d like to keep it in the room.
The House
The house is split over two floors and has a lovely open-plan kitchen and living space downstairs, with French doors opening straight onto the garden, perfect in warmer months. There’s another bedroom and a toilet on the ground floor. Upstairs you’ll find another bedroom and a shared study with two desks, ideal for occasional working from home. There’s also a second toilet upstairs and a separate bathroom with a shower over bath. The rest of the house is fully furnished, and the kitchen includes an under-counter fridge and freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
Location & Transport
The house is on a very quiet and family friendly road; all the neighbours are really lovely and are super helpful if you ever need to borrow things. They are also often offering up things for free on the road WhatsApp group! Transport-wise, t's very well connected, located between Forest Hill and Sydenham stations which are both less than a 10-minute walk away (Windrush Line and Southern services). There are also plenty of bus routes nearby and easy access to Forest and Lime bikes.
Current Housemates
You’d be sharing with two sisters in their late 20s and early 30s, ideally looking for someone similar. They’re friendly, considerate, and easy to live with - big fans of tarot cards, line dancing and Olivia Attwood docs. I’m only moving out to live with my partner and will miss sharing with them a lot!!
Rent & Bills
Rent is £734 per month. Bills are approximately £135–150 per month, including council tax (currently £196 per month).
