Description
I'm heading off to SE Asia and renting my cosy, colourful room in my vibrant, peaceful flat in Forest Hill from Oct 6 2026 to Jan 21 2027 (min 3 months, but we're flexible with dates/deposit).
Price per month is £1000 and includes all bills (council tax, utility bills, wifi) and things like cleaning products and toilet roll.
You'll be sharing the flat with my sister, a 34 year-old, who works in health policy. She loves cooking, baking, going to the theatre and has a season ticket to Arsenal Women.
My sister will also be away for 3 weeks Dec-Jan visiting me in SE-Asia so you'd have the flat to yourself over this time.
She works from the office 3/5 days a week and has every other Friday off, usually spending it at museums. So the flat would be suitable for someone who also works hybrid/in an office, but we're open to fully remote workers too.
The flat has a big bright living/dining room that catches the afternoon sun, a spacious kitchen that is fitted out with everything you can possibly think of including a coffee machine, pasta maker and air fryer and more spices than we know what to do with and a bathroom with a bath.
I can't promise she'll teach you how to make pasta, but you'll probably get some baked goods!
The bedroom gets the morning light, and is a decent size. It has a built in double wardrobe that has been fitted with drawers, shelves and space to hang clothes along with storage under the bed.
We've got bright, colourful walls and plants dotted about the flat. It's at the end of the road so the flat is quiet and surrounded by lots of trees.
The travel links are really good as it is less than 10 minute walk from Forest Hill Station Zone 3 (Overground Windrush Line and National Rail direct to London Bridge in 15-ish minutes) with plenty of bus routes into central London running 24/7.
The flat is across 2 floors (first and second floor of the building) and there isn't step free access.
We will be doing viewings in the evenings as and when people reach out, we can also do online viewings.
If you are interested in the flat it would be great to hear from you!
