Room going in our friendly flat!

Hi!

I'm Cat, the current room owner, I'm having to move due to going to work abroad. But this is a fab opportunity for you : ) The room is available from the 14th of October. There's two other flatmates Violetta and Lara. Vio works at The London Waste and Recycling Board (as glamorous as it sounds!) and Lara works at TfL. I can confirm they're really great people to live with and I'll be sad to go as they've been some of the best flatmates I've had in London.

Vio works standard 9 - 5 and Lara works shifts and they both have an active social life and hobbies. When we are home we like to have catch ups or just potter about. it's a lovely, little home and we're both friendly and laid back.

The area has lots of green spaces and little shops to potter round, and just close enough to London to feel a bit calmer but still easy to get places, so it would suit someone who likes somewhere a bit calmer a quieter to live in.

The flat is on the top floor and has three bedrooms, shared toilet, bathroom, kitchen and living room. There's a little balcony and loads of storage space. If you have a car, that should be no problem as you can sort out a space with the estate management company.

The room itself can fit a double bed, though I've got it as a single atm as I wanted a bit more space.

The rent = £450 a month
Council Tax = £40 a month
Bills = around £40 a month

We're a 15 minute walk to Forest Hill (Ginger Line and National Rail) Sydenham (ginger line and national rail) and Sydenham Hill (national rail) stations and the 363 bus stops right outside the estate. Buses in the vicinity go to Victoria, Crystal Palace, Elephant and Castle, Brixton, Peckham and Lewisham, that I know of.

Shops wise, there's Sainsbury's at Forest Hill, and you can get off at Sydenham Hill Rail station to get to Lidl and Tesco's. There's loads of little charity shops nearby, a gym, sports centre and library and we're right by the Green Chain Walk and Horniman Museum.
