Description
Hey! We are looking for a new housemate to take over a double room going in our lovely 3-bedroom (plus 1 guest room) house in Tulse Hill / West Dulwich. Rent is £800 a month.
Room:
It is a spacious double room that comes with: bed frame, mattress, set of drawers, wardrobe and a bedside table. It has beautiful big bay windows facing the quiet, residential road the house is situated on. Plenty of space for a desk / working station (desk not inc).
House:
There are 2 bathrooms - complete with bath and shower in both - as well as a separate toilet. One of them was recently refurbished. We have a sizeable living room with a telly and 2 sofas where we like to work together, have dinners, chat etc. Our kitchen is small but sweet with lots of cupboard space and a fridge-freezer. We have a conservatory space to hang out, read etc (with a spare bike rack space too). It opens out to our beloved garden where we enjoy having dinners when it’s warm and having a little drink.
Household:
You would be sharing with Voy (male) 30 film producer and Olly (male) creative/marketing manager. We are a LGBTQIA+ and POC friendly household.
We have created a homely, sociable atmosphere in this house and believe it is essential to know and get along with the people you live with. We fairly regularly go out together, but we are also all pretty busy professionals and definitely respect each other’s time and space. We both work from home most of the time 9-5ish. We are hoping to find someone who will also appreciate this balance!
Location:
We are conveniently situated between 3 train stations: Tulse Hill, West Norwood and West Dulwich with frequent services to London Bridge, Victoria, King’s Cross and more. West Norwood High St is an under 10 min walk away with a good selection of shops as well as pubs and great takeaways. There is also a local corner shop 3 mins away. We are a walking distance from Brockwell Park, Sydenham Wood, Belair Park and Dulwich Park. Overall this is a really lovely, quiet residential area and we all love living here.
Landlady:
We have a lovely and helpful landlady rather than an agency which is great but she does require either regular income or a UK based guarantor for new tenants so just flagging that upfront!
