Description
I have a freshly painted, bright room available within a three-bedroom semi-detached property - previously a cosy family home.
I am looking for an independent person - professional or student who would like to live in a quiet residential road to share the property with.
The room can be furnished with as little as you like but could include: single bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, cupboard, full length mirror, desk and chair.
You will have access to a bathroom and separate shower room, kitchen (with washer/dryer; fridge/freezer space and dishwasher), lounge (with TV) and dining room (with TV) space, garden and patio area in pretty well kept garden. There is a garden furniture for your use. There is off road parking available. Wifi is included.
All bills are included including Council Tax.
The location is green and leafy. We are in an ideal position for Oxleas Woods for fresh, clean, unpolluted air - ideal for walks and jogging. But centrally positioned to access all transport links into central London only 20 minutes away. We have easy access to the Overground, DLR, Underground, Elizabeth line, Jubilee line, London City airport, buses day and night; Queen Elizabeth hospital, Blackheath village, Greenwich Park and the River Thames, Woolwich and Eltham Town centres.
We are a 10 minute bus ride (20 minute walk) to Kidbrooke, Blackheath, Eltham over ground stations servicing London Bridge, Waterloo East, London Charing Cross, London Victoria and London Canon street stations.
There is easy access to all bus routes to North Greenwich station (for the Jubilee line – 15 minutes away), Blackheath, Lewisham, Eltham, Woolwich, Bexleyheath. There is 24/7 access via night buses going to London.
We are:
5 minute walk to Oxleas woods
10 minute walk to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich
15 minute walk to Kidbrooke station
10 minute bus ride to Blackheath village and heath
10 minute bus ride to Greenwich Park
10 minute bus ride to Eltham Town centre
15 minute bus ride to Woolwich Town centre and Elizabeth Line, DLR and overground
15 minute bus ride/underground to London City Airport
15 minutes bus ride to Jubilee line North Greenwich
For a little more information, I have recently had a 24 year old chap staying with me who has been working in the Houses of Parliament and who has found the house to be an ideal commute to London, prior to that I had an older man from South America who stayed prior to the pandemic and travelled to the City each day.
As additional information, I am a ten minute walk to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolwich for any member of staff working there that might be seeking accommodation in the UK.
I very much look forward to hearing from you.

Robin (Age 23) Norfolk
"Lovely room at an incredibly reasonable price in a leafy part in the Borough of Greenwich. Accessible public transport to London bridge, buses or the Elizabeth line (10 min bus ride away), but everything you could need is also nearby. Alison is a wonderful landlady, who knows the area and is very pleasant to live with. House is very comfortable, with a pleasant garden too."

I recently had the most wonderful stay at Mrs Sweet's home, and I couldn't recommend it more highly! The room was cozy, clean, and well equipped, making me feel right at home. Mrs Sweet is an incredibly warm and welcoming host—her kindness and her delightful conversations made my stay truly special. The place is peaceful and full of charm and not too far from the city centre.
