Description

A very private, architect designed split-level ensuite studio style annex, set within beautiful surroundings with panoramic views, consisting of an exceptionally bright lounge and separate attic-style galleried bedroom area with sky-light.
The main entrance and the kitchen are shared.

The house and front garden are set well above street level, so traffic noise is minimal. The back garden backs onto other gardens only, making it a tranquil setting where birdsong is often the main sound.

It is double-glazed and with central heating. The annex itself has an unusual layout and offers an attractive living space for one person. There is an ensuite bathroom with corner bath, shower, toilet and wash basin. The house is in an elevated position, it has a secluded front and back gardens and the view from the room overlooks the front garden and city skyline.

It is fully furnished with a double bed, bedside table and chest of draws. The lounge contains a sofa, coffee table, double wardrobe, laptop desk and bookshelves. There is also clever storage space with a cupboard recessed into the wall. For breakfast and light snacks, the room has a fridge. The studio is secluded and totally private from the rest of the house.

THE HOUSEHOLD:
The house is a calm, well maintained owner-occupied home and you will be sharing with the owner, and at times, with her daughter, who is currently living abroad and visits occasionally.
The landlady is a retired teacher and is often away for extended periods during the summer months, making the house particularly peaceful at those times.

SUITABILTY:
Best suited to a single, female professional seeking a high-quality, peaceful living environment and a thoughtfully designed living space.
