The Available Room: Available is a spacious room in the heart of Loughborough Junction. The room comes furnished with a double bed, bedside table, dressing table, desk, inbuilt storage, and a private balcony / light well. It is the larger room in an airy, converted pub.
The Flat: The flat is fully furnished and comes with a fitted kitchen, a communal living and dining room, a communal bathroom (with a bath and shower), and a laundry room with a combination washer / tumble dryer. The flat is the second in a building of four flats with incredibly friendly neighbours. The landlord is very responsive and helpful if there is ever an issue.
The Area: The flat is a 5 minute walk from Loughborough Junction Station (on Thameslink) with access to Blackfriars, Farringdon, and Kings Cross in less than 20 minutes. It is also a 15 minute walk from Denmark Hill Station (on the Overground). The flat has some beautiful parks including Myatt’s Fields, a Blocfit bouldering gym, an Active Lambeth Gym, and three microbreweries which are all very nearby. Camberwell and Brixton are also within walking distance which both have incredible food scenes and very arty communities. The flat is on a residential street (no buses or through traffic) which makes the surrounding area very quiet.
Rent: The rent is £1250 per month and this is inclusive of bills as well as a cleaner who comes once every two weeks.
Availability: The room is available from the beginning of October. The minimum stay for the room is six months.
The Housemate: I'm Charlie and I'm a 31 year-old gay man working in music (WFH two days a week). I'm a respectful, chilled and tidy housemate who loves going to gigs, being active, and volunteering. LGBTQ+ friendly is a must 🌈
