Double room going in a social, creative house in Charlton. The room has wooden floors and a big bay window so it gets loads of natural light. It’s currently used as a third living / exercise space. You can keep the chest of drawers and use the sofa bed as your bed if that works for you, or have it unfurnished and bring your own setup and feel free to decorate as you wish :)

The bedroom itself is a small double — but the house is huge, so you’re not boxed in. Two huge living rooms, conservatory, fully equipped kitchen, utility room, and a massive garden. There’s loads of storage throughout the house and space to work from home (desks can go in the living rooms if you prefer more space in your room).

I am 35f (live-in landlord) and one other housemate (29m, sound engineer). We’re friends and both into music and creative projects. It’s a social house — we hang out, cook, watch films, go for walks, make stuff, play music — but we’re also respectful of space and keep things tidy. It’s very relaxed & friendly. Pets more than welcome too!

– 10 min walk to Charlton railway station (easy into central London)
– 2 mins to bus routes
– Local shops, park, outdoor lido and pubs nearby
– 25 min walk to Greenwich Park and Blackheath

Council Tax Band E (included in rent).

This would suit someone who wants to live in a home or equally someone who prefers more privacy and wants to just rent a room — we're very relaxed about things, as long as you're kind!
