Hello!
We are looking for a flatmate to join us in our 3-bed flat situated just off Clapham Common.
The flat is about 10 minutes walk from Clapham South tube (zone 2) and about 15 minutes walk from Clapham Junction. There is a bus that runs past the end of the road that will take you to Clapham South or Clapham Junction in a matter of minutes. Northcote Road, which has lots of shops, bars and restaurants, is also a short walk away.
We are both professionals in our early-30s looking for someone socialable, tidy and laid-back to join us in the flat! Our names are Sam and Marcos (Sam is the owner of the flat).
The flat has an open plan kitchen and living room, plus a private roof terrace with great views. The room available is a double bedroom with a big wardrobe. It has a desk and office chair if you want it, and is big enough to work from home in comfortably.
The bills are not included in the rent, and are split three ways. At the moment they are about £90 a month in total, per person. This includes electricity, gas, water, council tax, TV license, and broadband.
Also, it would be preferable if you are comfortable with dogs, as we occasionally dogsit a very friendly labradoodle called Mia.
Finally please be aware that I (Sam) am currently seeking planning permission to extend the flat. If permission is granted and I decide to go ahead with it, then everyone will need to move out of the flat while works happen. The minimum tenancy will be for six months, and two months notice will be given before you are asked to depart. The earliest works will realistically start is the end of this year.
