A rare opportunity to join a unique floating community at Tideway Village Moorings. Situated on the River Thames a five minute walk from Battersea Power Station underground and a 10-15 minute walk from Vauxhall, the village consists of three large residential boats. There are three rooms available on the Newark boat; two at £795 and a smaller room at £695 which are for a share with 6 housemates and has a spacious shared living area, bills included, weekly cleaner as well as a large outside deck. Very friendly boat mates and it’s a lovely community.

The room suits people on a vaguely 9-5 schedule and attracts an eclectic and interesting range of people and professions with nurses, civil servants, film makers and charity workers amongst the professions. The community is known for being quite social and along with the charm of living on the river will be a great new home. The Thames is tidal so there is a bit of movement and there are quirks to life on board and the boat offers a welcoming and homely feel. The rooms are good sized doubles with all bills included (except broadband which will be shared with flatmates).
