Description
The House
The house is located on a quiet, residential street. A Victorian terraced property, it's very spacious and never feels crowded even with 6 of us living here. You'll share a bathroom with 1 other person and then there’s another bathroom downstairs with a bath/shower combo that can be used as well.
Downstairs you will find a large living/dining room, and then a big kitchen/diner that leads into the garden. The garden is a real bonus in London and we have a little bbq and seating out there which is great in the summer.
The house has all the amenities: fridge, a washing machine, a dryer, a dishwasher, TV, etc. We are lucky that it stays fairly cool in summer too, being a terraced property.
All bills are included in the month's rent, as well as our weekly cleaner, Carly.

The Area
3 min walk from lots of bus routes including: 87, 37, 35, 77, 156, 345, 137 taking you to central London and nearby areas
10-15 min walk from Clapham Junction Station (direct trains to Gatwick, Victoria, Waterloo)
15-20 min walk from Clapham Common Station (Northern Line -- the black one)
8 min walk to huge Asda, 10 min to Lidl, M&S food or Waitrose supermarkets
4 min walk to local Co-op convenience store
The Common (a big park) itself is right at the end of our road, amazing for sunbathing in summer, and it's a 5k round the Common so great for running. We are also a 25-min walk from Battersea Park -- one of London's best parks!
If you don't know Clapham, it's full of lots of independent bars and restaurants to try -- the housemates will be able to give recommendations for sure! You can also check out what's on at the Battersea Arts Centre round the corner, and there are lots of shops on the Northcote Road.
The Housemates
Felicity (32): Self employed writer who enjoys cooking, painting and other crafty things. (she makes the most amazing pizza and bolognese!)
Stuart (28): Works in sales for a coffee company. Stuart is a gym-goer who also loves to travel.
Tom (27): A paralegal. Tom is a sports fan from Wales who's into exploring London's bars and restaurants.
Will (25): Works in clean energy and loves to cook. (He will probably cook you something & I guarantee it will be delicious!!)
We are a friendly house who enjoy watching the odd series together, hanging out in the kitchen, and sometimes taking a trip to the pub. It's a homely house and we look forward to welcoming you :).
Finally ... You!
If you are a clean & tidy professional couple, who considers themselves trustworthy & reliable(!), I'd love to hear from you about the room. Happy to set up viewings either in person or on zoom.
Deposit and rent payable on the Monday 18th November.
(We will pay for the whole month of November. The first rent you pay will be for December)
