Sadly I am moving out from this lovely flat and great bunch of flatmates to pursue work commitments and hopefully the description below/pictures speak for themselves about what this flat provides…

The Flat/Room:

The flat is a four bed, two bath setup with a cozy kitchen, spacious hallway and large living room/dining area.

The room itself is light and bright, has a fireplace for added character, and comes with the chest of drawers, wardrobe and a new bed as of this month not in the picture but can share if needs be! (Rest is not included)

We have a fantastic shared garden, a shed for all bikes and bits, and a great basement for general storage and everything else. We also have an off-road parking space that we share as a flat, and there's a small driveway that nicely sets the front of the flat away from the road.

The flatmates:

The current house is one guy and two girls, and are a good mix of young professionals in different industries with a range of interests (running, cycling, football, art, music and film). Everyone has busy, active lives, so it’s rare that all housemates are home at the same time, but it’s always nice to chill and hang out together when we are.

Ages are between 25 and 32, and there’s a mix of in-office and WFH (we’d probably prefer someone who isn’t 100% remote).

We have a private, live-out landlord who’s brilliant; really responsive and easy to deal with. It’s a homely group of flats, and we’ve always got on well with the neighbours too.

Location:

The flat is pretty much right on the Barnes/Putney border, and just into the Borough of Richmond.

Barnes Station is a 4min walk away, and there's loads of nearby buses to get up to Richmond, Putney and into Central. The closest tube is likely Putney Bridge, and there are nearly always Lime Bikes at Barnes Station.

It's about a 10min walk into Barnes village, and 15min up to Putney, and we're also very handy for Richmond Park and the river!

The Details:

Rent: £750/month
Deposit: £866 (5 weeks rent)

Council tax: £60/month (10 instalments)
Internet & TV: £6.25/month
Bills: £60/month cold season, £40/month warm season.

Move in date: 20th December 2025 as the contract renews then. But please don’t let this throw you off as more than happy to have you move your stuff in much earlier
