Description
Hi there!
My lovely flatmate is moving in with her boyfriend and so I now have my spare room available in my 2 bed flat from Sat 10 August - it is a furnished double en suite room. All bills are included (gas, electricity, council tax, water, fibre broadband) plus a cleaner usually once a fortnight.
The room has a double bed with built in drawers plus a separate chest of drawers and double wardrobe with mirror. The en-suite has a shower over bath.
The flat itself also has an open plan kitchen/ living space and a desk which I use when working from home (at the moment I switch between fully WFH and 2/3 days a week in the office depending on what contract I'm on). It would be easier if the new flatmate worked in the office however I'm also happy to alternate WFH days.
There is free on street parking and I have a large private garden with furniture and a BBQ which is nice in summer.
Location wise the building is equidistant from Tulse Hill/ West Norwood (both 12 min walks) but also around a 15 min walk from Streatham Hill (direct trains to London Bridge, Farringdon, St Pancras and Victoria) It’s super close to local pubs, Co-op/Tesco/Sainsbury’s and about a 20-25 min bus journey straight into Brixton. Brockwell park/ lido is a short 10 min bus/30 min walk and West Norwood Heath and Leisure Centre (which has a gym and 25m swimming pool) is just a 10 min walk.
A bit about me - I’m a professional working in the legal industry as a contractor and also part time swim coach. I enjoy socialising with friends, eating out, going to the pub, participating in group exercise classes and I am a member of a local swimming club who I train with a couple of times a week. I’m a tidy and clean person, looking for someone similar to me - I love a chat over a cup of tea or drink but I also respect people’s space and privacy! I want whoever lives with me to feel like it’s their home too and don’t mind if they want to invite people round etc. This is an LGBT friendly house and I am a proud ally :-)
I also travel a lot so quite often you'll have the flat to yourself (in the last 6 months I've been away on average a week per month).
If this sounds interesting to you, feel free to drop me a message with a bit about yourself!
