2 Rooms in Streatham Shared House

We are Adam and Jenny and we’re looking for 2 new housemates/future pals to join our lovely 4 bed house share in the beating heart of Streatham (5 minutes to both Streatham & Streatham Common station, one stop away from the northern line), replacing our two housemates who are going travelling at the end of August.

You will be moving into one of the spacious upstairs rooms of our home, which provides all you could need for living in London: a dishwasher and a garden that perfectly traps the sun during your work from home lunch breaks. We have 2 bathrooms, so you will only need to share with one total stranger. We also have a lounge. With a TV, that works at least a lot of the time!

We have free parking on our road and it is often available, so if you are as awful at parallel parking as we are, it is a breeze to gently scrape your potential beloved car against the curbs. Our part of Streatham is surprisingly chill and family-oriented with a recent review from a friend stating ‘I was a bit worried about coming to Streatham but it’s actually really safe here!’. The house also includes a shed for all your outdoor storage needs, and there is a nearby shortcut to the local big Tesco & Aldi, gym & high street.

We are sociable housemates who love to explore London (mostly the festivals), pub hop and rot on the sofas watching trashy reality TV. Our average TikTok screen time is probably about 3 hours per day (each) and our pet hates are Tories, the Deliveroo service charge & when they top you up slowly at bottomless brunch. We’re keen to find housemates that are a good fit and love trying to balance work and fun in their 20s as much as we do.

Your rent would be £737.50 per month excluding bills and we usually pay around £130 each for bills. Rooms come unfurnished and move in date 28th August. We will be holding viewings on Sat 15/06 & Weds 19/06 (let us know if you need another time) so please get in touch ASAP xx
