Large double room to rent in Tooting/Streatham

Hi all! I’m looking for someone to take my large double room in Tooting Broadway/Streatham. The flat is located between Tooting and Streatham and very well connected: a 20 min walk from Tooting Broadway tube station, a 10 minute walk from Streatham Common station and only a few minutes away from the bus stop with great connections. Several supermarkets, gyms and green spaces nearby. The flat has 4 bedrooms total, with the other 3 occupied by young professionals (2 male, 1 female) in their early/mid 20s. The flat has a large kitchen and shared living room and shares a garden with the downstairs neighbour.

The bedroom is located at the top of the split-level flat and shares a bathroom with one other person. The room comes furnished with a bed and wardrobe; possibility to leave additional furniture can be discussed.

The expected start date is October 1st, depending on how long referencing etc. takes. The current tenancy agreement is until December 2025 - it is likely there will be the possibility to re-sign after and there is usually the option to move out during the contract, as long as you’re happy to find a replacement.

Rent is £660 per month with bills excluded - these usually come to less than £100 depending on time of year. The deposit is £664 and the changeover fee of £50. The property is managed through a helpful local estate agent, with a responsive landlord who has been renting the flat for many years. Unfortunately we cannot accept students.
