We live in a delightful 3 bed on the border of Tooting Broadway, Streatham, and Mitcham.
This is a joint tenancy with contract renewal in Sept 2024. The move in date will be from Sept 21. This is for long-term renters only (6 months minimum).
We’re looking for someone friendly, mature, not disruptive, responsible with bills & household duties, very clean and considerate. We’re very friendly around the house, but we respect each other’s space and have our own social habits.
The room is a good double - the pictures are alright but it’s bigger in real life. Coming with the room: 2 chests of drawers, wardrobe, bed & mattress < If you don’t want certain things or want to bring furniture, that’s no problem.
We have two bathrooms, and you’d share primary use of the upstairs bathroom with the housemate on your floor.
Bills & Household Maintenance:
Gas & Electric - Quarterly. Currently working out to between £150-£200 per quarter.
Water - £17 monthly
Council Tax - £33 monthly
Internet - £15 monthly
Housemate leaving was in charge of organising the gas & electric (British Gas), which you’d need to take over & set up with our assistance. We are each responsible for different bills in the house to spread responsibility.
We operate a cleaning rota to keep the common areas clean. All appliances are modern.
Free parking on street and neighbouring streets.
Locally: Many supermarkets, takeaways, local shops, package collection/drop offs - all within walking distance.
