Double Bedroom in well connected Streatham flat

Hi - I'm TJ. Nice to meet you 👋🏻. I'm 33 and own & live in a 2 bed flat right next to Streatham Station. I lived with a close friend in the spare room until recently, and am looking to rent out my spare room from the end of September/start of October.

The flat is situated at the back of the building so you cannot hear Streatham High Road traffic. Occasionally you'll notice a train going past, but it soon becomes background noise.

Location:

1 min walk from Streatham Station
20 mins walk / 10 min bus to Streatham Hill Station
20 mins walk / 10 mins bus to Streatham Common Station
15 min bus to Tooting Bec Tube - 2 regular buses
15/20 min bus to Brixton Tube - at least 5 regular buses

The building's front is accessed via Streatham High Road, opposite M&S. The flat is in the back of the building so is very quiet.

Rent: £1,000 pcm. This includes all bills including 500mb internet and TV/Streaming subs like Netflix/Sky Sports/TNT Sports.

Deposit: £1,000.

About me:

I am 33. In a relationship and my partner lives in East London so she is over 1/2 nights a week and I also stay with her once a week on average.

I work for a tech/streaming company and am in the office 2 days a week and WFH the other 3.

I enjoy going to the gym (Virgin Active is a 10 min walk), running, travelling and going to gigs.

The whole flat was redecorated this year. The living room/kitchen is large with a big extendable table and a sofa that extends out to a double sofabed if any friends need to stay. There is a dishwasher, a coffee machine and plenty of kitchen storage. There is a big bathroom with enough space for your own bathroom cabinet and towel rail.

My preferences for you:

Non smoker
No pets
Respectful - friends welcome but this is definitely not a party flat
Considerate and cleanly around the flat
Ideally similar working patterns (at least a couple days in the office)
Bonus points if you enjoy watching the occasional football game and match of the day

Accessibility: The flat is on the second floor. There is a lift, but the lift unfortunately does not go to the underground car park, only from the ground to the second floor.
