Description
Hi there!
We are two females, 1 Scottish, 1 American, both well embedded in London life. We’re looking for a new person for our serene, 1st floor Victorian terrace flat. 5-minute walk from trains to Victoria Station and 15 minute walk to trains from Tulse Hill to Blackfriars and East London. Handy for gatwick too.
We’re looking for a chill, progressive-minded, mature professional enjoys a homey household. We’re a non-smoking but omnivores and there’s a BBQ out in the back yard. Someone who actively likes gardening and takes pride in having a clean, happy home would be great. We keep the house really clean and would expect that any flatmate do the same.
The house has gorgeous light from 2 skylights, and we make it cosy with books and plants. The landlord is kind and responsive. We’ve got a galley kitchen with fairly new oven and hob, dishwasher and laundry as well as tonnes of pots and pans and cooking items for common use. There’s also a large living-dining room with a table we can fit 6 people around for dinner parties. There’s a cubicle shower with additional separate toilet. We’re on a quiet LTN street but there is some street parking if you drive.
All bills included in the monthly rent. Winter heating may drive up the cost a bit but we try to anticipate this and plan for it. The total monthly cost has never gone above £950 in our tenancy.
Ideally, we’d like someone open to a 6-month minimum lease with the intent to stay longer but can be flexible for the right person. We would consider a reduced rate for someone who is looking for a Mon-Fri let for work or similar – let us know the circumstance and we’ll take it from there.
A little on us:
Pip (33) loves skiing, golf, eating out and works in wine, keeps it very low key during the week and keeps a busy social schedule at weekends.
Erinn's from the US, loves cooking, gardening, wine, reading and anything Scandinavian.
No pets, no couples.
Please respond with some info about yourself and Pip can do initial viewings evening of Wed 25th, Thursday 26th on Saturday 27th Sept (still space for both) or we can accommodate a call on whatsapp call with us both and when you’d like to view in person. Looking for move in date from 10 October onwards, but again, we can be flexible for the right person.
The Room:
Is actually great, it's 2 rooms, one storage/office/living - whatever you want really and the other is the bedroom. Both with big windows and fireplace.
Thanks!
