Short-let big double room in vegan household

Renting my big double bedroom In Streatham Hill from 20th Jan - 13th Feb 2025 while I’m away. Open to someone staying for a shorter period during this time (for a cheaper price), but the full duration is preferable.

DM me for more pics & videos. The dog in the pic is a friend, we don’t own any pets (we occasionally let stray cats come in for shelter & attention though :) )

Price is £840 which is includes rent + bills + wifi.

Location: 13 min walk from Streatham Hill station / high street. Streatham Hill to Victoria is about 20 min train journey, to Clapham Junction is about 10 min train journey. Short bus ride to Clapham Common & Brixton.

The room:
It’s a big double room, the biggest room in the flat. SW facing. Has a lovely coffee table if you like to work from home (and sit on floor cushions like I do). There’s also cafes on the high street where you can work from if you prefer. I’ll empty one of the wardrobes for your things. A few rugs to keep the room warm but there’s also a portable heater if you don’t want to walk to the kitchen to switch the flat heating on (the kitchen is about 20 steps away through our long hallway, it’s a long flat lol!).

The flat & communal spaces:
You’ll be sharing with my two lovely vegan flatmates - 2 women in their 20s, one of them works from home (in her room).

The sitting room is quite small, and we only use it occasionally. It’s mainly just a home for our plants, and a sofa, beanbags etc. It was originally a bedroom but none of us wanted it so it became our sitting room.

The bathroom & sink are separate to the toilet (but right next door to each other).

The kitchen has all the usual things - oven, stove, fridge & freezer (you can have your own shelf), you can have your own cupboard too. Other things we have: vitamix blender, airfryer, dehydrator. I can let you know when the girls tend to cook, in case you want to cook around their schedule for privacy.

The flat tends to be quiet as all of our schedules are opposites so its rare that everyone is in the house at the same time. Although we all get along really well, we tend to stick to ourselves because of our schedules :)

The flat is strictly a vegan household. You can eat what you want outside the flat of course, but we ask that your respect that everything inside the flat be vegan only as we’ve lived this way for years and it would make the girls feel very uncomfortable seeing animal-based products around & being used in the kitchen x
