Double room Available in Streatham Hill, SW16 from early February 2026.

Sharing with me and 2 others, all cis women and 2 of us are queer, we are also a neurodivergent household 💛

ACCESS ♿
The building is accessed by a small step which is about 5-10cm off the ground and there is a lift once inside, its quite old and has a door that has to be manually opened and is heavy. The room is on the ground floor of a 2 storey flat. One of the current housemates is an ambulatory wheelchair user, but note that the main bathroom is on the 2nd floor.

We are also located next door to an SEND school and it can get quite loud at times.

Rent is £756 and bills are £110, totalling £866pcm

THE FLAT & ROOM🏠
2 storey, 4 bedroom flat with a spacious living/dining room, kitchen equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher, and 2 bathrooms, 1 downstairs toilet and an upstairs bathroom with a bath and showerhead. The room and flat are furnished, the room has a bed with a mattress, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside drawers.

COMMUNITY / AREA 🫂💛
The building has a great community of people, we know and speak to our neighbours and have some really close friendships and connections within the building. There is a WhatsApp group and sometimes meetings/social events for the building residents as well as a kind and friendly live in caretaker. We are a welcoming and social home and we are like a little family, but we do respect each other's space and privacy.

Streatham is a super long high street with lots of great eateries, shops, charity shops and a cinema. Easy access to green spaces like Tooting Common and Brockwell park etc.

TRANSPORT 🚂
Streatham Hill station is the closest train station with trains towards Victoria and Croydon regularly. Lots of buses, nearest tube is Brixton on a 15min bus or 40min walk.
