Spacious double room with private ensuite

Spacious double room available in a friendly flatshare in Streatham, moving in from July/August.

The room is a bright double with a private ensuite, large built-in wardrobe, desk/work-from-home space, and plenty of natural light.

The flat itself is a large, modern new-build with a spacious communal upstairs area, including two fridges, a freezer, a 65-inch TV, and a lovely balcony that gets loads of sun in the summer. It’s a great spot for a morning coffee, dinner with friends, or a few drinks when the weather’s nice.

Bills aren’t included, but currently come to around £115 per month.

The location is really well connected. We’re a 10-minute walk from Streatham Station and only around 5 minutes from Tooting Common and the lido, which are great when the weather is nice. There’s also easy access to the Northern line via a short bus to Tooting Bec, plus plenty of buses to Brixton, the City and Central London.

You’ll also have everything you need nearby, with Tesco, M&S, Lidl and Aldi all within walking distance. Streatham High Road is just a short walk away too, with pubs, restaurants, gyms, a cinema, cafes and plenty of other local spots.

You’ll be joining three existing flatmates:

Edward, a graphic designer from Ireland
Josh, also a graphic designer from Scotland
Rachel, a civil servant from Manchester

Edward and Rachel mainly work from the office, with a day or two working from home each week, while Josh mostly works from home.

We’ve all lived together for a couple of years now and have become good friends, so we’re looking for someone who’ll fit in easily. We’re a chilled flat who like watching films together, enjoying the odd night out, and having dinner or drinks on the balcony, but we also really respect each other’s privacy and downtime.
