Description

A stones-throw (literally) from Wandsworth Common, the home boasts a kitchen/diner, separate double living room and a garden downstairs. There is advanced wifi and two bathrooms.

THE AREA
Clapham, Earlsfield, Putney, Fulham, Chelsea and Tooting Bec are all within walking distance and enjoyed regularly by existing housemates.

ALL BILLS INCLUDED
Utility Bills and Council Tax are included in the rental price. Also included is a weekly cleaner for the common areas. Cleaning products are planet-friendly (smol) and are provided, as are other household products like bin bags and toilet paper (Andrex) on pre-scheduled deliveries.

THE HOUSE
The garden has a grape vine, BBQ, outdoor lighting, a large table for dining and cosy outdoor sofa for relaxing. Very open to any keen gardeners making their mark!

The available room has ample storage space and next door is a large bathroom with a shower/bath. The bedroom is on its own floor. There is also another bathroom two floors above which you can use. The bedroom currently has a single bed, but can easily fit a double bed if preferred.

This street is very quiet, yet central with a buzzing road WhatsApp group. Find yourself at a neighbours' charity bake sale or enjoying a street party on special occasions. Parking can easily be found outside the house, and both Wandsworth Town and Clapham Junction stations are a short walk away. Landlord/housemate has a car which they’re welcome to sharing.

The kitchen is complete with Anthropologie tableware and Le Creuset.

OTHER HOUSEMATES
The house is shared with four other international adults. The landlord/housemate (female) is 29, British and works in startups. The other housemates are in their 30’s, one is from Canada and the other is from South Korea. One is a secondary school teacher and two work for the NHS. All housemates are easy-going and respectful. We like to cheer each-other up after a hard day at work, and occasionally enjoy a board game night together.

PETS
One of the housemates has a calm dog (honestly the most chill dog you'll ever meet) and the landlord has three 'outdoor' cats.

CHILDREN
The landlord/housemate is a single mum, so the children are at home (they share the fifth bedroom) 60% of the time. The children are aged between 2 and 5. As such, during the week the shared spaces can get busy with movies and arts & crafts in the afternoons (4pm-7pm). Mornings are pretty organised, but expect the usual mad rush to get out of the house around 08:30-08:45.

We are looking for a friendly, homely individual to share our home with. You will be replacing an LGBT individual in their early 20's who has enjoyed the house for a year.

Very open to any length of tenancy, pets etc (excluding cats). Above all, we are looking for the right person to join us and want to be open-minded in finding that person. It's a fun, loving home to be in and pretty unique. We love our home, and we know it will be perfect for the right person.

Please note, the room is available from the 18 August.
