Hello! My current housemate is moving in with her boyfriend, so I’m in the hunt for someone to move in when our contract ends. I’m hoping to sort viewings before 27th Aug as I’m off on holiday for most of September. Also note that the room is only available from 17th Oct, as my housemate is staying until then.
🏡 The room is pretty small (3x2m) and comes *unfurnished* but there is quite a spacious cupboard for clothes, or hiding things. The flat has been fully refurbed by the landlord, as it was his first home. So everything is nice, clean and actually works! Great spacious kitchen, delightfully powerful shower, etc. Note all the furniture in the living room is also leaving with my housemate, so will be being replaced, hopefully by the time you move in…
📍 The flat is on the corner of the East Hill residential estate just off St John’s Hill, around a 10 minute walk from Clapham Junction, Wandsworth Town and 5 mins from the Thames Path. It’s a safe area and there are so many good restaurants, bars and shops around. 10/10 for location, and for the cycle route into central!
💸 Rent is £875 p/m excluding bills, which are around £80-100 each (thanks to the affordable Wandsworth council tax) and the deposit is £808 (assuming no changes). You’d be signing onto a 12 month contract with a 6m break clause.

I’m a pretty easygoing housemate and spend most of my time cooking, cycling, swimming, eating out and having a good 🍻 when I’m not working. I’m in the office Monday-Friday (unfortunately) so if you WFH you’d get the flat to yourself during the day.
🐈 Cats allowed! I’ve asked the landlord to write it into the contract, incase I decide to get one. But if you come with a cat already, that would be even better…
