Description
Our flatmate Aoife is unfortunately moving out with their partner so we are looking for a person as lively and as friendly as her to take her place. Our house consists of Gawth, Emma, and Jhian. We are super chill, sociable, and like to have fun going out when we are free. Our interests all overlap, we like to be active in the gym or sports, go out have a drink in the pub, and also be able to have a chill night in when we feel like it. So ideally we are looking for someone that can match that vibe.
Double room available in a 4 bed house just round the corner to Southfields Station (3 min walk) available from the first week of February (can be flexible if needed). The room is actually bigger than expected as the wardrobe storage is inside of the room and it’s pretty large, no issues with it at all. The kitchen is very modern and we use it to cook up some good stuff as one of the current housemates used to work as a chef/line cook in restaurants before.
Ideally, we would like a young professional between the ages of 23-35 who is looking for a social house with quiets nights in and fun nights out. We wish to view the house as a shared living space for all and take the time to make it a homely place to come back to after a day at work.
Now for the technical details:
One double bedroom in Southfields, with a large social area (living room/kitchen), large good garden (we also have a gardener that mows the lawn and upkeeps the outside facade of the house) and free driveway parking available. Plenty of storage throughout the house. House is located in a safe, family neighbourhood, with lots of local parks, restaurants, and pubs. 10 minute walk from Wimbledon stadium. All bills are included in the rent.
District line tube stop on our doorstep, which will get you into Central London or to Paddington Station within 30 minutes. Also, good transport links to Clapham, Putney, Wandsworth, Tooting, Wimbledon & Richmond. Shops within walking distance include Tesco, Sainsbury’s, M&S Food, Boots and a number of food and drink places. There is also a good gym very close by.
Minimum stay is 6 months (get out break clause) and the contract is for 2 years but just gets rolled on if we want to continue. The landlord and house manager are both super nice people and very responsive if we have any issues at all. Stable rent prices for the area as well.
